What opting out does
When you opt out — or when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor automatically — we stop firing the gated advertising tags (Meta Pixel, Google ads tags, and similar) and their server-side events for you, and we stop adding you to advertising audiences. Strictly-necessary and first-party analytics that do not feed an advertising platform are unaffected.
